This study aims to explore the effect of a new medicine after a single intravenous infusion (delivered directly into the vein) in volunteers. The researchers will compare the effect of the new medicine in healthy Caucasian subjects with that of healthy Japanese subjects.
For this study we need the help of male participants or female participants, of Caucasian descent, aged from 20 to 54 (inclusive) who are in good health and do not smoke or have a history of alcohol abuse or drug addiction. This study, which is only being conducted at Scientia Clinical Research in Randwick, will enrol up to 18 Caucasian volunteers with additional volunteers added if required.
All meals are provided during your stay, along with free Wi-Fi and use of gaming consoles.
Eligible participants will be reimbursed for their time.
The new medicine could possibly reduce the rate of cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction and stroke in acute coronary syndrome patients, if successful.
This study is now finished. If you haven’t already, you can register to hear from us about upcoming studies.
