We are conducting a healthy volunteer study, here at our facility in Randwick, Sydney, to test a potential treatment for fungal infections.

SCY-247 is a triterpenoid antifungal agent, a structurally distinct class of glucan synthesis inhibitors (GSI) that inhibits the synthesis of a fungal cell wall polymer.

To be eligible for this study you must:

  • Be a generally healthy male or female
  • Aged between 18 to 50 years old
  • Must have a BMI of <0kg/m²
  • Must have a bodyweight of between 45.0 kg and 100.0 kg inclusive for females, and between 50.0 kg and 110.0 kg inclusive for males

This study requires 2 periods of in-house stay:

Period 1 - 3 nights / 4 days with 6 follow-up visits

Period 2 - 3 nights / 4 days with 7 follow-up visits.
