This study is to test a potential new drug for the treatment of ulcerative colitis.

Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disorder that causes continuous inflammation and sores (ulcers) in your digestive tract. It affects the colon (innermost lining of the large intestine) and rectum. It causes symptoms such as bloody stools, diarrhoea, fatigue, cramps, night-time bowel movements and an increased frequency in bowel movement

We are seeking healthy males or females, between the ages of 18 to 50 years old who have a BMI of between 18.0 and 32.0 kg/m2

Part A of this study requires a 5 nights/6 days stay at our facility in Sydney, with a 5 follow up visits.

Part B requires four admission periods – 2 x 3 nights and 4 days, and 2 x 2 nights and 3 days.

There will be five safety follow up visits on Days 25, 28, 31, 35 and 56.

 

The total maximum study duration for participants in Part 2 is approximately 84 days including the screening period
